The HaluPix DUO is a dual layer LED matrix that seamlessly integrates lighting and video capabilities into a modular design. This twin-source unit offers high-power, long-throw white beams alongside high-brightness video and strobe features, with full pixel-level control. This integration facilitates diverse and dynamic lighting setups, suitable for a variety of professional stages and TV applications.

Each unit of HaluPix DUO is a 50x50cm (20x20 inches) building block. It comprises two distinct layers of light sources: 441 (21x21) RGB+WW pixels with a 120° beam spread, and 49 (7x7) WarmWhite 4° beam sources. The total power draw is 500W, which can be distributed between either or both groups of light sources according to user preference. Additionally, each emitter is individually pixel controllable, enabling the display of video content on either one or both sources. This offers exceptional brightness and unmatched colors.

The modular frame of HaluPix DUO, akin to LED tile structures, allows seamless interlocking of multiple units. This maintains a consistent pixel pitch across both source groups when using several devices. The frame is designed for versatility, supporting various configurations such as flat or curved, hanging or ground stacking.

HaluPix DUO also excels as an all-weather lighting solution. Its IP65-rated design ensures reliability and durability in both indoor and outdoor applications, protecting against water and dust.

In terms of connectivity, HaluPix DUO comes with an integrated power supply and user interface. It supports a variety of lighting protocols including DMX, RDM, sACN, Art-Net and RDMnet, offering unparalleled flexibility for any setup.

Notes: 
  • Firmware updates require the UPBOXPRO compatible with all Prolights products
  • It's possible to use UPBOX1 and UPBOX2 *DISCONTINUED* checking the compatibility in the below tab
  • UpBox_Tool  software is compatible with all UPBOX interfaces
  • To update NET boards with .EHEX files a network cable and Professional Uploader software it's needed. It's possible to follow this guide

    • DMX Beam Mode = You can set the modes "Single"/"49PIX" via the Manufacturer PID "BEAM LAYER" [0x8381].
    • DMX Pixels Mode = You can set the modes "OFF"/"49S"/"PIXELS" via the Manufacturer PID "PIXELS LAYER" [0x82E7].
  • In STANDALONE / BEAM / TOUR FX, set by default B.G Intensity@10% default and Pattern Speed@58% default.
  • Set Manufacturer PID "DMX_FAULT" [0x82DD] to default value 0 (Hold).
  • Changed the "Stand Alone" section on the control channel of all DMX modes (dmx range 104-131). According to the new Control channel:
    • MASTER DMX = 104-105 dmx values
    • MASTER NO DMX = 106-107 dmx values
    • SLAVE = 108-109 dmx values
    • PIXELS LAYER TOUR FX= 110-111 dmx values
    • PIXELS LAYER CCT = 112-113 dmx values

Fixed Bugs:
  • Stand Alone Dimmer: the 0%-100% switch occurs in fade.
  • FX Opacity not working properly.
  • HARD PATTERN XFADE not working properly.
  • PIXEL FX PATTERN XFADE not working properly.
  • Manufacturer Specific PID "Error" is not compliant. The errors currently implemented via RDM are:
    • 0: No Error
    • 1: LED1 ERROR : LED STRIP 1 Error => fail communication with led strip 1
    • 2. LED2 ERROR : LED STRIP 2 Error => fail communication with led strip 2
    • 3. LED3 ERROR : LED STRIP 3 Error => fail communication with led strip 3
    • 4. LED4 ERROR : LED STRIP 4 Error => fail communication with led strip 4
    • 5. LED5 ERROR : LED STRIP 5 Error => fail communication with led strip 5
    • 6. LED6 ERROR : LED STRIP 6 Error => fail communication with led strip 6
    • 7. LED7 ERROR : LED STRIP 7 Error => fail communication with led strip 7
    • 8. BEAM TEMP. ERROR => BEAM source temperature issue
    • 9. PIXELS TEMP. ERROR => PIXELS source temperature issue
    • 10.NEED_MAINTENANCE => Maintenance time exceeds the set maintenance time
  • USER SETTINGS Manufacturer Specific PID is not compliant. This PID only works as a recall of a previously saved "Preset" => It is not possible to save device settings to a Preset via RDM.
  • Manufacturer Specific PID "Invert Mapping" is not compliant
  • Device turns on both Pixels and Beam when you enter the Stand Alone Menu "Pixels" or "Beam".
  • Scrolling through the different FX Patterns occurs in fade.
  • Manufacturer PIDs regarding Stand Alone behavior do not work correctly.
  • Light source turns on by itself when changing the RDM PID values.
