Italian singer-songwriter Ultimo took to the stage at Tor Vergata, in Rome, for La favola per sempre, a single-date concert that has already entered the history of Italian live music. With approximately 250,000 paying spectators, the event became the largest concert ever staged in Italy.

The production was built to reach every corner of the vast area made available by the University of Tor Vergata. The megastage measured 140 metres wide and 60 metres high, with a 30-metre infinity-shaped catwalk extending into the crowd, a structure that demanded consistent, uniform lighting throughout the open-air show.

Two specific visual challenges defined the PROLIGHTS deployment for this production. The first was the monumental sign above the stage, bearing Ultimo's cursive signature, the show's most immediately recognisable visual element, required to maintain absolute legibility even from the greatest distances. The second was the 30-metre catwalk: a structure entirely surrounded by the crowd, where PROLIGHTS fixtures were chosen to illuminate and enhance key positions, ensuring maximum visual impact during the artist's close-up moments with the audience.

60 SunBlast 3000FC fixtures were selected for the sign. Of these, 47 units were bolted directly inside the sign's structure, illuminating it from within and transforming it into a self-lit scenic element of exceptional visual impact, a defining feature of the entire show.

50 ArenaCob 4FC fixtures were integrated into the design of the infinity-shaped catwalk. Specifically, the fixtures were installed along the inner perimeter of the structure to enhance the most evocative moments of the show, when the artist was in direct contact with the audience.

The event was produced by Vivo Concerti, while Mister X handled direction, video and lighting, directly managing the supply and operation of the PROLIGHTS fixtures on stage.

PROLIGHTS left its mark on a night that has already entered the history of Italian live music, once again demonstrating the reliability and effectiveness of its technology on the most demanding stages.
